01 / What it is
What does AI do in hospitality and leisure?
In hospitality and leisure, AI takes over the work behind the reception desk: answering the guest questions that come back every day, preparing booking changes, keeping admin up to date across systems and producing reports from the booking system. Your team keeps the guest, the exceptions and the decisions. You notice it at the desk: less typing, more time for the guest standing in front of you.
Hospitality is a people business. That's why we don't build AI around the guest, but behind your team. A guest who emails about the check-in time gets a reply sooner. A guest who calls in angry gets an employee who has time for them.
In leisure, there's the season on top of that. In high season, the stream of messages grows with occupancy, and your seasonal staff need to learn in a week what your permanent team learned over years. AI scales along without any onboarding time, and gives new colleagues answers from your own house rules.

02 / Sound familiar?
Behind the desk, on an ordinary changeover day.
None of these things is a big problem. But together they cost your team hours every week that don't go to the guest.
What time can we check in?
“It's in the confirmation, on the website and in the app. Still, we get the question forty times a day.”
Changeover day
“At ten o'clock sixty guests leave, at three o'clock sixty arrive. In between, housekeeping needs to know which cottages to do first.”
Three languages
“The German guests email in German. Petra handles those, and Petra only works on Tuesdays.”
Reviews
“We want to respond to every review. In practice we do it for the bad ones, and only after a week.”
The weekly figures
“Occupancy, revenue, cancellations: three exports, one Excel file and an hour every Monday evening.”
The seasonal worker
“New colleagues ask everything twice. That makes sense, because it isn't written down anywhere.”
03 / Applications
Six applications of AI in hotels and holiday parks.
For each application: which systems we connect to, who approves and what it delivers. The figures come from the Wens Chalets case; for the others we describe what changes. What it delivers for you, we calculate in the AI Quick Scan.

04 / Case
Wens Chalets: employee happiness from 7 to 9.
At Wens Chalets, the work sat in three places: lots of manual admin, the same messages to guests over and over again, and separate systems for bookings and reports that didn't talk to each other.
We built AI workflows for the admin, automatic reports and guest communication through connected systems, with n8n as the link between them. The result: 40+ hours a month saved on admin and a 60 percent faster response time to guests.
But the figure we're particularly proud of is a different one: employee happiness went from 7 to 9. The team does less of the work nobody enjoys, and more of the work they went into hospitality for.
01Where the work was
Manual admin, repeated guest messages, separate systems.
02What AI does
Admin, reports and guest communication through connected systems.
03What it delivered
40+ hours a month saved on admin and a 60% faster response time to guests.
04What the team noticed
Employee happiness from 7 to 9.

Hospitality stays a people business. AI makes sure your team has time for it.
Not a chatbot that fobs off your guests, but a team that replies faster and has more time for the guest at the desk.
06 / Which route
A chatbot on your website, a feature in your booking system or a custom AI workflow?
Three routes we come across in hospitality and leisure. They're not mutually exclusive. If a feature in your booking system solves it, use that. We build where off-the-shelf stops.

Live in the low season, ready for summer.
We build within the AI Partnership. You start with the € 6,000 AI Quick Scan: one day on site with you, and within a week a business case per opportunity. Plan it so that the first process goes live in the low season. That way, trust grows before the busy period begins.

10 / Questions
Frequently asked questions about AI in hospitality and leisure.
What can AI do for a hotel or holiday park?
In a hotel or holiday park, AI can prepare replies to guest questions in the guest's language, prepare booking changes, take over admin between systems, produce reports from the booking system and answer reviews. An employee approves whatever goes to the guest. At Wens Chalets, this saved 40+ hours a month on admin, with a 60 percent faster response time to guests.
Does AI replace reception?
No. AI takes over the repetitive work: the questions that come back every day and the retyping between systems. The guest who calls, stands at the desk or has a problem gets an employee. At Wens Chalets, employee happiness went from 7 to 9, and more than 40 hours of admin a month came off the team's plate.
Can AI handle guest communication in several languages?
Yes. AI writes the reply in the guest's language, based on your own house rules and the details from the booking. The employee sees the Dutch version alongside, reads along and sends. That way the German email doesn't have to wait for the colleague who speaks German.
Can an AI chatbot reply to guests by itself?
Technically it can, but we always start with drafts that an employee checks. Only once a type of question has gone without errors for a long time can it move to spot checks. A chatbot that gives wrong information about cancellations or deposits costs you money and trust.
Which systems do you connect to in hospitality and leisure?
To what you already use: the booking system, the inbox and the contact form, accounting software such as Exact or AFAS, review platforms and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. We usually build in n8n, with custom work where needed. The condition is API access or an export with the right permissions.
What about guest data and the GDPR?
Guest data stays in the EU, on your own infrastructure or on servers with a European provider. AI only sees what it needs for a task, everything is logged and the data agreements are in place before we build. What is and isn't allowed with personal data in a chatbot, you can read in ChatGPT and the GDPR.
Is AI also worth it for a small campsite or B&B?
That depends on the volume. A partnership with NinA AI starts at € 4,500 per month and has to earn itself back at least twice in the first year. With a handful of guests a week, that doesn't pay off. In that case, start with an on-site workshop for your team (€ 4,500 per half day), so you work smarter with AI yourselves, or with the AI features in your booking system.
What does AI cost for a hotel or holiday park?
You start with the € 6,000 AI Quick Scan. After that, the AI Partnership runs on package S (€ 4,500 per month, 30 hours), M (€ 7,500 per month, 50 hours) or L (€ 12,000 per month, 80 hours), for a minimum of twelve months. We only start if the partnership earns itself back at least twice in the first year. All amounts excluding VAT.
