I Gave 3 AI Workshops in 2 Days, That's Also Entrepreneurship

I gave 3 AI Workshops in 2 days

This week felt like a milestone, both on a business level and in my personal development. I gave three AI workshops in two days – just hard work and entrepreneurship – because each workshop had its own presentation, its own audience and its own focus (from beginning AI users to daily users!).

The week was extra special, because exactly one week ago we celebrated the first anniversary of NinA AI Agency.

Looking back on this year, I can only be proud. From a modest start with a fragmented offering to a clear profile (knowledge, consulting and implementation) with 60 deals in our CRM and a team of six professionals: the hard work is paying off.

We've grown quickly from a modest startup to an AI partner that truly makes a difference for companies. Where I dare say that our competition takes us very seriously (you can't get a nicer compliment).

Growth

I find it inspiring to see how our clients, from well-known names to smaller, entrepreneurial players, dare to invest in innovation.

Wens Chalets collaboration

Take for example our newest client: Wens Chalets, which has been offering chalets in winter sports areas for over 50 years. With the help of AI, we'll support them in accelerating and improving their offering – so they can fully focus on their personal service. Because that's where they make the difference, and that's where you want humans, not AI!

The fact that we can now clearly demonstrate that AI not only delivers efficiency, but also creates space for the human touch, gives me extra energy.

We're also seeing more companies that have been around longer wanting to work with us on AI.

Take for example SPS, an IT company that has existed for 30 years. They've engaged us for AI workshops, but also for a strategic consultation on how they can integrate AI into their software products. This kind of collaboration excites me enormously: companies embracing AI to improve, not just to follow the hype.

Investing in the right people was crucial here. Without the choice to invest in an experienced developer, this growth path would never have gone so smoothly, complemented by two young developers with a university AI background – this seems like a beautiful combination.

It's wonderful to see how smart people inspire me every day, so that together we can tackle our clients' (complex) questions.

This team enables me to truly deliver custom solutions. But in a way that means we're not McKinsey or Dept, but remain accessible to the majority of companies, from 10 employees to 500 and more.

Knowledge Is the Foundation

Those 3 workshops last week were customized for diverse audiences, from a small group of six to a larger group of forty enthusiastic participants. It's a great feeling to see that people leave inspired and with concrete ideas.

What I also find very important: sharing knowledge. I've been doing that daily on my LinkedIn for 3 years now. But I obviously encourage everyone within NinA AI and beyond to get started with AI themselves. It's fantastic when one of my developers says: "I did this in 10 minutes instead of the usual two hours."

Every company should really encourage that!

We've also started internal projects where our own team builds, tests, implements and discusses a new AI automation or AI Agent every week.

This ensures we stay ahead and can always offer clients the newest insights and applications.

After all, AI changes incredibly fast and if you don't keep learning, you'll fall behind.

Latest Developments in AI

Besides our company's growth, there's also too much news in the AI world to mention. I'd like to briefly share some updates that caught my attention this past week:

  • Omnihuman by ByteDance – ByteDance, the owner of TikTok, has launched a new AI technology: Omnihuman. With this tool, it's possible to create lifelike videos with just one photo and an audio track – think of a deepfake where Albert Einstein comes back to life. It's fascinating to see how this innovation can further broaden the possibilities for both entertainment and education.

  • ChatGPT o3 mini by OpenAI – OpenAI launched the o3-mini model on January 31, known for its improved reasoning power and speed. This model is a step forward compared to previous versions and ensures that complex issues can be solved faster and more accurately. The fact that this model is made available for both free and paid users makes it a valuable tool for everyone who wants to experiment with AI.

  • Deep Research: a new standard for research – Another interesting development is the launch of Deep Research by OpenAI. This tool combines advanced web research with the reasoning power of their newest models, so that within 5 to 30 minutes, comprehensive, cited reports can be generated.
  • Personally, I find it impressive that Deep Research achieved a score of 26.6% on 'Humanity's Last Exam' – a leap that shows how far we've come. These kinds of tools can enormously help professionals speed up time-consuming research. Deep Research is only available with the pro plan (€200) per month. I have it and therefore tested it by recreating my business plan. I fed it with a lot of information, but also chose to do the competition research myself. And wow, in 2023 I really worked on this for a few weeks, now I had a business plan in 5 minutes. And honestly, it's certainly not inferior to my weeks of toiling... (it might even be better, but that naturally hurts my ego).

Besides these big names, it's also notable that there's increasing attention for open source initiatives. The safest way to use AI, because it runs on your own cloud or own hardware. The fact that more and more companies want to run their own models open source shows that the AI market is evolving at a rapid pace worldwide. We can also help companies with this!

We've Only Just Begun

My ambitions as an entrepreneur are big and I'm firmly convinced that we're only just scratching the surface.

My goal is to offer companies a reliable AI partner, just like you would for marketing or IT. Someone who is always up to date with the latest developments and able to translate those into practical and safe applications within your existing systems. The idea is simple: by letting AI do the 'stupid' work, we have more time for what really matters – building personal relationships and deploying creativity.

NinA AI Live workshops

We're also working on new NinA AI Live workshops and trainings, like a training program on building AI Agents.

With NinA AI Agency, I continue to invest in knowledge, in my team and in the latest technologies. I invite you to join us.

Keep learning, keep experimenting and discover how AI can help you work more efficiently and effectively.
